CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-156 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION OF <br /> APPROXIMATELY 4.0 ACRES LOCATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH AND <br /> WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF ST. JOHN STREET AND <br /> PLEASANTON AVENUE FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br /> MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (GP-85-2) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 26, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 4.0 acre site located immediately north <br /> and west of the intersection of St. John Street and <br /> Pleasanton Avenue from High Density Residential to <br /> Medium Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated February 6, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 4.0 acre site located immediately north <br /> and west of the intersection of St. John Street and <br /> Pleasanton Avenue from High Density Residential to <br /> Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
