CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-155 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br /> GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br /> OF APPROXIMATELY 2.25 ACRES AT 553, 539, AND 571 ST. <br /> JOHN STREET FROM COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES TO HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 26, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 2.25 acre site located at 553, 539, and <br /> 571 St. John Street from Commercial and Offices to High <br /> Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated February 6, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 2.25 acre site located at 553, 539, and <br /> 571 St. John Street from Commercial and Offices to High <br /> Density Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
