CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-153 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> APPLICATION OF EQUITY ENTERPRISES FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br /> AMENDMENT TO REDESIGNATE PROPERTIES ON NORTH SIDE OF <br /> STANLEY BOULEVARD BETWEEN 1024 MAIN STREET AND 3963 <br /> STANLEY BOULEVARD FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br /> HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (GP-84-14) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 26, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for <br /> redesignating properties on the north side of Stanley <br /> Boulevard between the Mobil Oil Company service station <br /> located at 1024 Main Street and the 13.65 acre Madden <br /> property located immediately east of 3963 Stanley <br /> Boulevard from Medium Density Residential to High <br /> Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated December 4, 1984 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for redesignating <br /> properties on the north side of Stanley Boulevard <br /> between the Mobil Oil Company service station located at <br /> 1024 Main Street and the 13.65 acre Madden property <br /> located immediately east of 3963 Stanley Boulevard from <br /> Medium Density Residential to High Density Residential. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
