CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-138 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF VALLEY AVENUE MEDIAN LANDSCAPING, PROJECT <br /> NO. 84-4, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO <br /> VALLEY CREST LANDSCAPING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, work by Valley Crest Landscaping on the Valley Avenue <br /> median landscaping, Project No. 84-4, has been <br /> satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Valley Avenue median landscaping is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $1,350.00 in favor of Valley <br /> Crest Landscaping in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. 84-4. <br /> Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or $14,428.26 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after filing of <br /> the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 26, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None K~~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> C~, MAYOR ' <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
