CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-137 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF CAMERON AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 26, 1985, the City Council received a staff <br /> report recommending the vacation of a portion of Cameron <br /> Avenue, more particularly described in plats and <br /> accompanying legal descriptions labeled Exhibit "A", <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the portion of Cameron Avenue to be vacated is <br /> consistent with the goals and policies of the General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the portion of Cameron Avenue to be vacate is no longer <br /> necessary for present or prospective public use due to <br /> the approval of PUD-83-8; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways <br /> Code and based upon the findings above establishing the <br /> vacation of portions of Cameron Avenue in a manner <br /> meeting the requirements of Sections 8331 and 8335 of <br /> the Streets and Highways Code, those portions of Cameron <br /> Avenue described in Exhibit "A" are hereby vacated. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this <br /> resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of <br /> the Alameda County Recorder upon its becoming effective. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 26, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
