CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 85-137 RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF CAMERON AVENUE WHEREAS, on March 26, 1985, the City Council received a staff report recommending the vacation of a portion of Cameron Avenue, more particularly described in plats and accompanying'legal descriptions labeled Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the portion of Cameron Avenue to be vacated is consistent with the goals and policies. of the General Plan; and WHEREAS the portion of Cameron Avenue to be vacate is no longer necessary for present or prospective public use due to the approval of PUD-83-8; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:. Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and based upon the findings above establishing the vacation of portions of Cameron Avenue in a manner meeting the requirements of Sections 8331 and 8335 of the Streets and Highways Code, those portions of Cameron Avenue described in Exhibit "A" are hereby vacated. Section 2: The Clerk shall cause a certified copyof this resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of the Alameda County Recorder upon its becoming effective. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
