CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-132 <br /> <br /> APPROVING INSTALLATION OF HANDICAP RAMPS ON DORMAN ROAD <br /> AND APPROPRIATING $8,100 FOR THE PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a request has been made to determine the best routing <br /> for handicap students at Donlon School on Dorman Road to <br /> travel to the local shopping center at the corner of <br /> Dorman Road and West Las Positas Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a route down Dorman Road has been designated and a total <br /> of nine ramps would be required at an approximate cost <br /> of $8,100; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Staff is directed to prepare plans and specifications <br /> for the installation of the handicap ramps. <br /> <br />Section 2: Appropriates $8,100.00 for the project. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 12, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~NET~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> R.
