3. Estimated total construction cost dated March 6, 2003 for the required <br />improvements. This estimate includes all construction-related costs attached <br />hereto as Exl»bit C and made a part of this agreement. <br />AGREEb1ENT <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for the mutual consideration provided herein, the <br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />A. Pleasanton Responsibilities. Pleasan n will b res onsibl for the followin <br />~, Project Desigj Pleasanton will contribute the following costs for <br />Pleasanton-related design work described in Exhibits A and B: <br />CCS Scope of Work $175,020 <br />Cordoba Consulting Scope of Work $ 18,000 <br />5% contingency 9 6 1 <br />Total = $202 671 <br />The contingency fund may not be used without advanced approval from <br />Pleasanton. <br />2. Construction. Pleasanton will contribute the following costs for <br />Pleasanton-related construction work described in Exhibit C: <br />Construction $598,872 <br />Construction Management (15% of Construction) 89 831 <br />Total = $688,703 <br />Final Pleasanton-related construction cost will be based upon the agreed <br />percentages (for lump sum bid items) and quantities of work (for <br />measured bid items) as shown in Exhibit C. All change orders and <br />additional items of work that are Pleasanton-related shall require advanced <br />approval from Pleasanton prior to their implementation and inclusion in <br />the Final Pleasanton-related construction cost. <br />3. Transfer all funding for the Project that will be provided by Pleasanton <br />to Dublin within thirty (30) days of request. <br />4. Provide City staffto participate in meetings as required throughout the <br />course of final design and construction, and provide timely review of <br />the plans and specifications. <br />
