ttpr ua ua ua:~2p J M Segundo 9254549985 p,2
The trees on my property side were trimmed back to allow "amore open cleaned up
feeling" per my wife Joanna's quote and also removed for the fact that a new retaining
wall was in mind while Mrs. Roacha replaced the fence. I felt that prior to a new fence
install and the old fence torn out it would be a good time to cut out what needed to be
done in order to avoid any damage being the space was an uneven hillside. Please
understand the photo showing a partial aerial view of both properties is old photos
revealing unmanicured property lines with incorrect boundaries as the fence lines
changed. Also, the location of the water tank would have not been screened out
regardless of my tree removal as the sizes of them were small considering live oaks and
an apple tree. All stalks are still evident for review as needed.
As an owner of a rather rare but desired property bordering city and agriculture zoned
single family homes I think it's in Mrs. Roacha's best interest to move the tank to an area
less revealing. Considering she lives on over an acre ofproperty and her boyfriend is a
plumber living with her that has performed many basic plumbing hookup's and
trenching, such as the existing trench as 1 wirnessed, the financial hardship is less than
meets her eye. I also know that the neighboring property of Frank Zeimer is not objective
to the tanks whereabouts as he does not occupy the home and his rented dwelling is a
good distance from the fence line. The relocation would eliminate neighboring
complaints across the board and everyone would be satisfied. What 1 do know is almost
every day 1 use my property with my family and investment in mincL My flag shaped lot
has a private paved driveway that serves as a road for my kids to ride bicycles and big
wheels on. My backyard serves as a sanctuary for summertime swim parties and year
around family and friend get togethers. From Diamond Court, my main driveway, garage
driveway, backyard bar b q/sitting area dec1~ family room and kitchen table a
monstrosity of a tank sits I2 feet tall green in color staring at me.. This is why I
complained as the relocation of the unit is needed.
There is na compromise from the courts stand point or my own. The fact is Mrs. Roacha
should have considered her neighbors and maybe listened as well as applied for
a permit. Could she have fixed the original water storage tank or simply placed the water
tank in another area off my properties frontage perhaps cost could have been eliminated
from the placement of redwood trees to the cost of the new water tank and any relocation
cost. Again, being the foundation of the unit is gravel, additional trenching labor is
minimal and cost of materials is very little, I ask the commission to grant a permit given
that that tank is relocated. It is a very simple yet inexpensive fix for everyone.
Kindest thanks for your consideration,
Phillip and Joanna Segundo
