FOR THE VINEYARD AVENUE BOOSTER PUMP STATION, CIP NO. <br />011023-P.S. <br />SUMMARY <br />Construction of the subject project is complete and ready for acceptance. The project <br />consisted of constructing a new water booster pump station to serve new development in <br />the Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan (VCSP) area, as well as enhancing water supply to the <br />Bonde water zone. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Accept the improvements for the Vineyard Corridor Booster Pump Station, CIP No. <br />011023-P.S. <br />2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. <br />3. Authorize final payment to JMB Construction, Inc. in the amount of $2,120.59. <br />4. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $93,738.63 to JMB <br />Construction, Inc. thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br />5. Authorize payment of an additional amount not-to-exceed $23,400 to Garber <br />Engineering for additional work, including the addition of an emergency generator. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />This project is part of the City's water supply infrastructure planned and approved as part of <br />the Vineyard Corridor Specific Plan area. It is expected that operation of this facility will <br />add minimal costs to the City's annual water enterprise operating expenses. Construction <br />of the pump station included new landscaping and an irrigation system around the facility, <br />which will require ongoing maintenance activities estimated to be approximately $1,000 <br />annually. In addition, routine maintenance of the facility is estimated to be approximately <br />$2,000 annually. <br />
