My absences were tlue to unexpected <br />professional conflicts relating to my career as Treasurer of a San Francisco <br />based financial services firm (one of which involved out-of-town travel). <br />Generally, I am able to control my schedule such that my commitment as a <br />Civic Arts Commissioner would not be affected, and the travel requirements <br />for my job are generally quite light. However, in these two Cases my <br />absences from the Commission meetings were unavoidable. <br />Looking forward, I do not see any difficulty with attending upcoming <br />scheduled meetings.
