Policy 6 <br /> <br /> ...to stimulate development of residences on <br /> large lots. <br /> <br />In accord with the express goal of providing for a wide range of <br />housing it is recognized that large lot development should be <br />facilitated. Most large lot developments are located in the <br />outlying, often hilly areas of the community where lower density <br />development is thought most appropriate. There are in-lying <br />areas, however, that could accommodate such development which <br />would tend to complement and enhance the standard six to ten <br />thousand square foot lots predominating on the Valley floor. <br /> <br /> Implementation Program 1: To exempt minor residen- <br /> tial subdivisions (four lots or less) from the <br /> growth management program as these projects yield <br /> generally larger lots in outlying areas. <br /> <br /> -13- <br /> <br /> <br />
