City, other pertinent agencies, and/or landowners <br /> as necessary to complete the scope of work outlined <br /> in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Surveyor in this <br />Contract, City shall allow Surveyor to research existing plans of <br />the area on file, and provide any necessary direction and plan <br />checking within a reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Sufficiency of Surveyor's Work. Surveyor agrees that <br />all maps, field notes and cross sections prepared for City shall <br />be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which they <br />are performed. <br /> <br /> 4. Ownership of Work. All maps, field notes, cross <br />sections, work data, and all other documents completed or <br />partially completed by Surveyor in the performance of this <br />Agreement shall become the property of City. <br /> <br /> 5. Term. It is recognized by both parties hereto that time <br />is of the essence. Surveyor shall begin work in March 1985. The <br />work as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work, shall be completed <br />by April 30, 1985, dependent upon weather permitting and City <br />review time. <br /> <br /> 6. Compensation. Fee for services to be rendered <br />hereunder, City shall pay Surveyor on a time-and-materials basis, <br />not to exceed Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00), based on rate <br />schedule per attached Exhibit B. Partial payment shall be made <br />on a monthly basis in proportion to the percentage of work <br />completed, upon receipt of Surveyor's invoice and the approval of <br />the Director of Public Works and Utilities as to the percentage <br /> <br /> <br />
