CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-83 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR SOCCER CITY RUN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 26, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Assistant to the City Manager <br /> regarding an application from the Hacienda Business Park <br /> for a permit to hold the Soccer City Run on March 10, <br /> 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the <br /> application; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application by Hacienda Business Park <br /> for a permit to hold the annual Soccer City Run, on <br /> March 10, 1985, to be held in the City of Pleasanton as <br /> more particularly delineated in the report of the <br /> Assistant to the City Manager (SR 85:98), subject to all <br /> conditions set forth by the Police Department in Section <br /> III of that report. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1984-85 is amended to <br /> include the cost incurred by the city in assisting with <br /> this event. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 26, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~E/R~~/~j~ <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Peter b'.
