CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-82 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR MARCH OF DIMES <br /> WALK-A-THON ON APRIL 28, 1985 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 26, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Assistant to the City Manager <br /> regarding an application from the March of Dimes Birth <br /> Defects Foundation for a permit to hold the annual <br /> Walk-a-thon on April 28, 1985; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council approve the <br /> application; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application by the March of Dimes Birth <br /> Defects Foundation for a permit to hold the annual <br /> Walk-a-thon on April 28, 1985, to be held in the City of <br /> Pleasanton as more particularly delineated in the report <br /> of the Assistant to the City Manager (SR 85:98). <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City budget for fiscal year 1984-85 is amended to <br /> include the cost incurred by the city in assisting with <br /> this event. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 26, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None ~E/R~~ <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> <br />~James R.
