CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-79 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION INITIATING PREZONING OF PROPERTY BEING <br /> ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON UNDER ANNEXATION <br /> NUMBER 112 (MISSION HILL) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has directed <br /> the City staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting <br /> annexation and an annexation application to LAFCO as <br /> filed under Annexation No. 112; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable to prezone properties coming into the <br /> City limits to a zoning district consistent with the <br /> General Plan so that said properties will not <br /> automatically be put into an "S" (Study) District when <br /> they are annexed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That prezoning to any zoning district consistent with <br /> the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> initiated for the following property: <br /> <br /> Approximately 20 acres located generally between the <br /> southern line of Bernal Avenue 2500 feet east of First <br /> Street and the eastern terminus of Mission Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 12, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Peter D.'MacDonald, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
