CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-71 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br /> LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br /> AMENDING SECTION 3 (STOP INTERSECTIONS) TO ESTABLISH A <br /> FOUR-WAY STOP AT VALLEY AVENUE AND CRESTLINE ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br /> for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 12, 1985, Mayor Mercer <br /> indicated a need for a four-way stop sign at the <br /> intersection of Valley Avenue and Crestline Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 to ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended <br /> by adding subsections 3c-5 and 3v-4 to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "3c-5 Crestline Road, at Valley Avenue; stopping <br /> traffic on Crestline Road in both directions. <br /> <br /> 3v-4 Valley Avenue, at Crestline Road; stopping <br /> traffic on Valley Avenue in both directions." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 12, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
