CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-62 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENTS WITH TJKM, INC. AND <br /> MACKAY AND SOMPS FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR DEL VALLE <br /> PARKWAY PLAN LINE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 7, 1985, Council directed <br /> staff to begin a study to determine the necessity, width <br /> and alignment of Del Valle Parkway between Main Street <br /> and Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff contacted two traffic engineering firms and a <br /> civil engineering firm for proposals for consulting work <br /> on the subject project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 12, 1985, the Director of <br /> Pubic Works and Utilities presented his report (SR <br /> 85:63) describing the proposals received and <br /> recommending the firms of TJKM and MacKay and Somps to <br /> perform the necessary consultant services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the proposals submitted b <br /> TJKM, Inc. and MacKay and Somps for consultant services <br /> for developing the plan line for Del Valle Parkway <br /> between Main Street and Bernal Avenue, copies of which <br /> are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute standard agreements <br /> with the two consultants. <br /> <br />Section 3: Approves an appropriation of $32,000 to cover the <br /> costs for the above-described consultant work for the <br /> Del Valle Parkway study. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 12, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
