CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-55 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PUD <br /> ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 262 UNIT <br /> MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AND RELATED <br /> FACILITIES ON APPROXIMATELY 13 ACRES LOCATED IMMEDIATELY <br /> SOUTHWEST OF BERNAL AVENUE AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 22, 1985, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for PUD zoning <br /> and development plan approval for a 262 unit <br /> multi-family residential development and related <br /> facilities on approximately 13 acres located immediately <br /> southwest of Bernal Avenue and the Southern Pacific <br /> right-of-way; approximately eight acres are currently <br /> within the City limits and approximately five acres are <br /> currently outside of the city limits for which this <br /> action shall constitute a prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated December 28, 1984 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed PUD zoning and <br /> development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed PUD zoning and <br /> development plan approval would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for PUD zoning and <br /> development plan approval for a 262 unit multi-family <br /> residential development and related facilities on <br /> approximately 13 acres located immediately southwest of <br /> Bernal Avenue and the Southern Pacific right-of-way; <br /> approximately eight acres are currently within the City <br /> limits and approximately five acres are currently <br /> outside of the city limits for which this action shall <br /> constitute a prezoning <br /> <br /> <br />
