RESOLUTION NO. 85-39 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-2, STONERIDGE BUSINESS CENTER <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This City Council has given preliminary approval to <br />the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in Assessment <br />District No. 1984-2, Stoneridge Business Center, City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California. The report includes plans and <br />specifications for the construction of improvements described in the <br />report. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for this construction not later than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February <br />14, 1985, in the office of the City Clerk located at 200 Bernal <br />Avenue, Pleasanton, California. At that time and place the sealed <br />proposals will be publicly opened, examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if <br />made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br />fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by <br /> <br />the City and the lowest responsible bidder). , <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice <br />inviting sealed proposals in THE VALLEY TIMES in accordance with the <br />Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is <br />authorized to give additional notice and to distribute additional <br />information as necessary in the judgment of the Engineer of Work, to <br />secure competitive bidding. <br /> <br /> , , , <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
