CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION NO. 85-36

APPROVAL OF REQUEST OF STANLEY JORGENSEN FOR LOT SPLIT
AT 2982 FOOTHILL ROAD

WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 22, 1985, the City Council
received an application by Stanley Jorgensen for a lot
split at 2982 Foothill Road; and

WHEREAS, this lot split will be creating two lots served by
septic tanks, each of which will be less than five acres
in size, and in conflict with Council policy of
requiring a minimum parcel size of five acres to be
eligible to obtain a permit to install a new septic tank
(Resolution No. 73-139);

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities presented his
report (SR 85:36) indicating that conditions limiting
further development on the property until it is served
by sanitary sewers would make the current lot split
acceptable; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this lot split would be
consistent with the General Plan;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: Council finds that this application is not in
conflict with City Council Resolution No. 73-139
provided the following special conditions of approval
are imposed:

1. That sewers be installed at the time any future
development is allowed.

2. That the larger home not be allowed to be expanded
while on the septic system.

3. That the smaller home be allowed to be expanded by
a maximum of 400 square feet while on the septic
system.

Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
