CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-28 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF TWO VEHICLES FOR POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the recent Memorandum of Understanding for Captain and <br /> Lieutenant positions provides for use of an automobile <br /> for each of the five command officers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police presented his report (SR 85:27) <br /> requesting a budget amendment to allow purchase of two <br /> vehicles; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Authorizes the purchase of two vehicles for the <br /> Police Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes amendment to the Police Department budget <br /> to add $15,000 for the cost of the two vehicles. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 22, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ~E~~~,~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> RCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />Peter D. ~acDonald, 'c~Att~rney <br /> <br /> <br />
