CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-21 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF SAN JOSE FINANCIAL OF A <br /> DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT DENYING A VARIANCE <br /> FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ORDINANCE CODE TO MAINTAIN <br /> EXISTING FENCES WITHIN THE REQUIRED STREET SIDE YARD <br /> SETBACKS LOCATED AT 6183/6186 CORTE SANTIAGO, 6185/6190 <br /> CORTE DEL REY AND 6052/6114 HANSEN DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1984, the Board of <br /> Adjustment denied the application of San Jose Financial, <br /> Inc. for a variance to maintain existing wood fences <br /> located within the required ten foot exterior side yard <br /> setbacks of six single family residential properties <br /> with frontage along Camino Segura south of Hansen Drive; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this matter was appealed to the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 7, <br /> 1985 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents <br /> were reviewed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of San Jose <br /> Financial of a decision of the Board of Adjustment <br /> denying the application for a variance from the <br /> requirements of the Ordinance Code to maintain existing <br /> fences within the required street side yard setbacks <br /> located at 6183/6186 Corte Santiago, 6185/6190 Corte Del <br /> Rey and 6052/6114 Hansen Drive because the necessary <br /> findings to allow the variance could not be determined. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 7, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
