CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-03 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ABAG VI FINANCING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ABAG VI Program uses a Joint Powers Authority of the <br /> Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to establish <br /> a credit pooling opportunity for local cities to <br /> collectively participate in a lease-purchase program; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Assistant City Manager presented her report to <br /> Council (SR 85:05) describing in detail the structure <br /> and procedures under the Program, including a list of <br /> equipment to be considered for acquisition under this <br /> financing plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 7, 1985, Council reviewed the <br /> report and deemed it appropriate for the City of <br /> Pleasanton to participate in the financing program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the participation of the City of Pleasanton <br /> in the ABAG VI financing program for the lease-purchase <br /> of the following equipment: <br /> <br /> Asphalt Concrete Spreader Box <br /> Pool Covers <br /> 3-ton Roller and Trailer <br /> High Velocity Sewer Storm Cleaner <br /> Vehicle Washing System <br /> Fire Truck (incl. in 1983/84FY). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 7, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
