CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-582 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF WILLIAM MARSH TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION OF APPROXIMATELY 0.75 ACRES AT 5998 SUNOL BOULEVARD FROM "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" (GP-86-9) WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 16, 1986, the City Council received a request for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of a 0.75 acre site located at 5998 Sunol Boulevard from "Low Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices"; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the proposed change and recommended approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment and adopted Resolution No. 86-581 approving the Negative Declaration; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make a change to the Land Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of the four times during the calendar year such change may be made; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council approves the application of the Planning Commission for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation of a 0.75 acre site located at 5998 Sunol Boulevard from "Low Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices." Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
