CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-582 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF WILLIAM MARSH TO <br /> AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE DESIGNATION OF <br /> APPROXIMATELY 0.75 ACRES AT 5998 SUNOL BOULEVARD FROM <br /> "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" <br /> (GP-86-9) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 16, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a request for a General Plan Amendment to <br /> change the land use designation of a 0.75 acre site <br /> located at 5998 Sunol Boulevard from "Low Density <br /> Residential" to "Commercial and Offices"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the <br /> proposed change and recommended approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br /> was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br /> and adopted Resolution No. 86-581 approving the Negative <br /> Declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to <br /> the General Plan Amendment at which time any member of <br /> the public was offered the opportunity to address the <br /> City Council on said amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make a change to the Land <br /> Use Element of the General Plan at this time as one of <br /> the four times during the calendar year such change may <br /> be made; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the application of the <br /> Planning Commission for a General Plan Amendment to <br /> change the land use designation of a 0.75 acre site <br /> located at 5998 Sunol Boulevard from "Low Density <br /> Residential" to "Commercial and Offices." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
