CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-581 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br /> GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br /> DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 0.75 ACRE SITE LOCATED <br /> AT 5998 SUNOL BOULEVARD FROM "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" <br /> TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" (GP-86-9) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 16, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 0.75 acre site located at 5998 Sunol <br /> Boulevard changing it from "Low Density Residential" to <br /> "Commercial and Offices"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 15, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use designation of an <br /> approximately 0.75 acre site located at 5998 Sunol <br /> Boulevard changing it from "Low Density Residential" to <br /> "Commercial and Offices". <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
