CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-577 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR A MINOR MODIFICATION AND DESIGN <br /> REVIEW APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A TWO STORY OFFICE BUILDING <br /> TO BE LOCATED ON AN APPROXIMATELY 1.5 ACRE SITE LOCATED <br /> ON THE EAST SIDE OF CORONADO LANE APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET <br /> NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD <br /> AND CORONADO LANE (PUD-81-30-37D AND PUD-30-17M) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br /> approval and a minor modification to construct a <br /> two-story, approximately 19,400 sq. ft. office building <br /> to be located on an approximately 1.5 acre site located <br /> on the east side of Coronado Lane approximately 300 feet <br /> north of the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> and Coronado Lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) <br /> including the typical architectural and site designs for <br /> individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br /> or new information requiring additional environmental <br /> review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br /> a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br /> documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 16, 1986 and <br /> testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br /> with PUD-81-30 and the General. Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's General <br /> Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company of America for design approval and a minor <br /> modification to construct a two-story, approximately <br /> 19,400 sq. ft. office building to be located on an <br /> approximately 1.5 acre site located on the east side of <br /> Coronado Lane approximately 300 feet north of the <br /> intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Coronado <br /> Lane, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto an incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
