CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-568 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FIXING SALARIES AND BENE- <br /> FITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON NOT INCLUDING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY AND <br /> REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 85-486, AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment and designation of <br /> certain employees as management and confidential employees~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended salary ranges and supplementary <br /> benefits for the period October 1, 1986 through September 30, 1987, <br /> for management and confidential employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution No. 85-486, adopted a <br /> compensation plan for the above employees, which resolution must now <br /> be repealed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for management <br /> employees for the period commencing October 1, 1986, and ending <br /> September 30, 1987, shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The salary ranges and supplementary benefits for confidential <br /> employees for the period commencing October 1, 1986, and ending Sep- <br /> tember 30, 1987, shall be as set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Manager is authorized to include as part of the total <br /> compensation, City payment of the employee share of the PERS (re- <br /> tirement) cost. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Manager is authorized to adjust salary levels including <br /> associated benefit costs within the ranges set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 5. The 1986-87 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is amended <br /> accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 6. Resolution No. 85-486 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 7. Except as provided herein to the contrary,the terms and provisions <br /> of this Resolution shall not effect the applicability of the Person- <br /> nel Rules of the City of Pleasanton to management and confidential <br /> employees who are not exempt from said Rules. <br /> <br />Section 8. The salary and supplementary benefits set forth in this Resolution <br /> be the only compensation for the positions set forth in Exhibits A <br /> <br /> <br />
