CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-540 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> PREZONING APPROXIMATELY 246 ACRES LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES <br /> OF OLD DUBLIN CANYON ROAD, GENERALLY IN THE AREA <br /> APPROXIMATELY 4,800 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> FOOTHILL ROAD AND OLD DUBLIN CANYON ROAD (RZ-86-11) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 18, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning <br /> an approximately 246 acre site located on both sides of <br /> Old Dublin Canyon Road, generally in the area <br /> approximately 4,800 feet west of the intersection of <br /> Foothill Road and Old Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-High Density/Low <br /> Density/Rural Density Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 15, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for prezoning an <br /> approximately 246 acre site located on both sides of Old <br /> Dublin Canyon Road, generally in the area approximately <br /> 4,800 feet west of the intersection of Foothill Road and <br /> Old Dublin Canyon Road to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-High Density/Low Density/Rural Density <br /> Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
