CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-539 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> PREZONING APPROXIMATELY 201 ACRES LOCATED ON BOTH SIDES <br /> OF FOOTHILL ROAD GENERALLY IN THE AREA NORTH OF THE <br /> INTERSECTION OF BERNAL AVENUE AND FOOTHILL ROAD <br /> (RZ-86-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 18, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for prezoning <br /> approximately 201 acres located on both sides of <br /> Foothill Road generally in the area north of the <br /> intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road as <br /> follows: TMI/Mason Properties (155 acres) to PUD-LDR <br /> (Planned Unit Development-Low Density Residential) <br /> District; Gartung, Stevenson and Oleson Properties (5 <br /> acres) to R-i-40,000 (Single-Family Residential) <br /> District; and Wells Fargo Bank, Curdy and Messa <br /> Properties (41 acres) to "A" (Agricultural) District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 15, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for prezoning <br /> approximately 201 acres located on both sides of <br /> Foothill Road generally in the area north of the <br /> intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road as <br /> follows: TMI/Mason Properties (155 acres) to PUD-LDR <br /> (Planned Unit Development-Low Density Residential) <br /> District; Gartung, Stevenson and Oleson Properties (5 <br /> acres) to R-i-40,000 (Single-Family Residential) <br /> <br /> <br />
