CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-537 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING <br /> 7.6 ACRES LOCATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF AND PARALLEL TO <br /> STANLEY BOULEVARD, BETWEEN STANLEY BOULEVARD/FIRST <br /> STREET AND A POINT APPROXIMATELY 3,350 FEET <br /> NORTHEASTERLY OF THAT INTERSECTION TO THE PUD (PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (PUD-86-14) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 18, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning an <br /> approximately 7.6 acre site, the previous 100 foot width <br /> railroad right-of-way located immediately north of and <br /> parallel to Stanley Boulevard, between Stanley <br /> Boulevard/First Street and a point approximately 3,350 <br /> feet northeasterly of that intersection to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial and Offices <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 14, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning would <br /> not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning an <br /> approximately 7.6 acre site, the previous 100 foot width <br /> railroad right-of-way located immediately north of and <br /> parallel to Stanley Boulevard, between Stanley <br /> Boulevard/First Street and a point approximately 3,350 <br /> feet northeasterly of that intersection to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial and Offices <br /> District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
