9. That the developer shall plant 4-5 clusters of 4-5 canal <br /> trees (eucalyptus) each along the length of the rear (north) <br /> landscape easement adjacent to the canal outside the proposed <br /> security fence in order to soften views of the building and <br /> stock parking area from the freeway. <br /> <br /> 10. That the proposed mitigation measures, as identified in the <br /> previous traffic studies completed for the AT&T and Reynolds <br /> and Brown projects, for Hopyard Road/Owens Drive and Hopyard <br /> Road/EB 1-580 offramp be interim and done at the time it is <br /> deemed necessary for the City Engineer. If said improvements <br /> are required to be constructed then the City shall spread, if <br /> feasible, the cost in proportion to the pro rata square <br /> footage share of all buildings whose approval was made <br /> possible by these mitigation measures. <br /> <br /> 11. That the drop-off "snorkel lane" be deleted from the site <br /> plan, with direction to the applicant to seek a dual snorkel <br /> lane on Chabot Drive south of Owens Drive or elsewhere in the <br /> general vicinity of the site. <br /> <br /> 12. That a temporary driveway connecting the main entrance <br /> driveway on Site 51C (at the Owens Drive median break) to the <br /> Site 51B parking lot shall be included in the improvements <br /> for Site 51B. <br /> <br /> 13. That the owner of Site 51B shall enter into a lease with the <br /> U. S. Postal Service for a period of no more than 10 years; <br /> if the Postal Service wishes to be retained beyond that time <br /> frame, it or the owner shall make separate application and <br /> shall be approved only after a traffic study indicates that <br /> there will be no adverse traffic impact. <br /> <br />14. That in the event the Postal Service does not select Site 51B <br /> for its north Pleasanton"annex", the approval for Site 51B <br /> shall be null and void; no construction shall take place on <br /> Site 51B until a lease or other document found satisfactory <br /> by the City Attorney has been entered into between the owner <br /> and the Postal Service for its use of the site for a post <br /> office annex. <br /> <br />15. That this development is subject to all of the "Standard <br /> Conditions of Development", except for Conditions No. 7, 12, <br /> 13, 14, 29, 46, and 49. <br /> <br />16. That this approval shall become effective upon the effective <br /> date of Case PUD-85-8-2M. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
