CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-506 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF CALLAHAN, SWEENEY, <br /> AND O'BRIEN AND PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA <br /> FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR A CAR DEALERSHIP AND <br /> RETAIL COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON APPROXIMATELY 8.2 ACRES <br /> LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF <br /> OWENS COURT AND OWENS DRIVE (PUD-85-8-2D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Callahan, Sweeney, and O'Brien and Prudential Insurance <br /> Company of America have applied for design approval for <br /> an approximately 35,150 sq. ft. auto dealership and an <br /> approximately 16,000 sq. ft. retail commercial building <br /> and related facilities, to be located on an <br /> approximately 8.2 acre site located generally at the <br /> northeast corner of the intersection of Owens Court and <br /> Owens Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration was prepared for the development <br /> of the subject site (PUD-85-8-2M) including the typical <br /> architectural and site designs for individual lots, and <br /> there are no changed circumstances or new information <br /> requiring additional environmental review; therefore, <br /> this application does not constitute a new project under <br /> CEQA and no new environmental documents accompany this <br /> application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 28, 1986 and <br /> testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br /> with PUD-85-8-2M and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD-85-8-2M as well as the City's <br /> General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Callahan, Sweeney and <br /> O'Brien and Prudential Insurance Company of America for <br /> design approval for an approximately 35,150 sq. ft. auto <br /> dealership and an approximately 16,000 sq. ft. retail <br /> commercial building and related facilities, to be <br /> located on an approximately 8.2 acre site located <br /> generally at the northeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Owens Court and Owens Drive, subject to the conditions <br /> listed in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
