CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-501 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR A LIBRARY AND RELATED FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY FOUR ACRES AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF BERNAL AVENUE AND OLD BERNAL AVENUE WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 28, 1986, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for design review approval to construct a one story, approximately 30,300 sq. ft. library and related facilities to be located on an approximately four acre site at the northeast corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October 14, 1986 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed design review approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed design review approval would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for design review approval to construct a one story, approximately 30,300 sq. ft. library and related facilities to be located on an approximately four acre site at the northeast corner of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Old Bernal Avenue.
