CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-495 ACCEPTANCE OF FIRST STREET SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, NEAL STREET STORM DRAINAGE LINE REPLACEMENT AND EAST ANGELA STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 85-37, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO TOM'S BACKHOE, INC. WHEREAS, work by Tom's Backhoe, Inc. on the First Street sanitary sewer improvements, Neal Street storm drainage line replacement and East Angela storm drainage improvements, Project No. 85-37, has been satisfactorily completed; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress payment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The work on the First Street sanitary sewer improvements, Neal Street storm drainage line replacement and East Angela storm drainage improvements, Project CIP 85-37 is hereby accepted. Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a warrant in the amount of $953.45 in favor of Tom's Backhoe, Inc. in satisfaction of the final progress payment for the above-accepted work on Project No. CIP 85-37. Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or $20,968.25 will be retained until thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of Completion. Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
