CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-485 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TOW RATES, FEES AND OPERATING <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide fair and equitable towing services <br /> to the community, it is appropriate to establish rates, <br /> fees and operating conditions for Pleasanton based on <br /> rates set by the California Highway Patrol and other <br /> area cities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the fees set forth on the attached are limitations on <br /> tow rates, fees and operating conditions and only apply <br /> to towing companies when called in by the Pleasanton <br /> Police Department; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby establishes the tow rates, <br /> fees and operating conditions set forth on the attached <br /> Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED OCTOBER 28, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~v ~/ <br />Jam~~esR.
