CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-480 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR REZONING <br /> AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR VALLEY MEMORIAL <br /> HOSPITAL (PUD-86-11) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 7, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for rezoning <br /> from "P" (Public and Institutional) to "PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development)-Public and Institutional" District and <br /> development plan approval for an approximately 488,000 <br /> square foot medical center complex consisting of <br /> offices, behavioral medicine, skilled nursing, <br /> residential, acute/ambulatory care, and related <br /> facilities to be constructed in four phases, to be <br /> located on an approximately 27.7 acre site located at <br /> the northwest corner of the intersection of Santa Rita <br /> Road and West Las Positas Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated August 8, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan approval would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for rezoning from <br /> "P" (Public and Institutional) to "PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-Public and Institutional" District and <br /> development plan approval for an approximately 488,000 <br /> square foot medical center complex consisting of <br /> offices, behavioral medicine, skilled nursing, <br /> residential, acute/ambulatory care, and related <br /> facilities to be constructed in four phases, to be <br /> located on an approximately 27.7 acre site located at <br /> <br /> <br />
