CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-443 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 9.3 ACRE <br /> SITE SOUTH AND NORTH OF MISSION HILLS PARK (GP-86-3) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the General Plan Land Use Element changing <br /> the designation of an approximately 4.8 acre site from <br /> "Low Density Residential" to "Open Space" (Parks and <br /> Recreation) and of an approximately 4.5 acre site from <br /> "Open Space (Parks and Recreation) to "Medium Density <br /> Residential" generally located in the area south and <br /> north of Mission Hills Park, respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated September 3, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the General Plan Land Use Element changing the <br /> designation of an approximately 4.8 acre site from "Low <br /> Density Residential" to "Open Space" (Parks and <br /> Recreation) and of an approximately 4.5 acre site from <br /> "Open Space (Parks and Recreation) to "Medium Density <br /> Residential" generally located in the area south and <br /> north of Mission Hills Park, respectively. (GP-86-3) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
