CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-442 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN <br /> CHANGING APPROXIMATELY 7.7 ACRES IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF <br /> MISSION HILLS PARK FROM "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" TO <br /> "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" (GP-86-7) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan <br /> for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately <br /> north of Mission Hills Park changing the designation <br /> from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density <br /> Residential"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Land Use Element of the General Plan for an <br /> approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of <br /> Mission Hills Park changing the designation from "Public <br /> and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential". <br /> (GP-86-7) <br /> <br /> <br />
