CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-442 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN CHANGING APPROXIMATELY 7.7 ACRES IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF MISSION HILLS PARK FROM "PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL" TO "MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" (GP-86-7) WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 1986, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission Hills Park changing the designation from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential"; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission Hills Park changing the designation from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential".
