CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-441 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF DOUGLAS SAFRENO TO AMEND THE LAND USE <br /> ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM "HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" FOR AN <br /> APPROXIMATELY 9,500 SQ. FT. SITE LOCATED AT 4232 FIRST <br /> STREET (GP-86-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 16, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan <br /> changing the designation of an approximately 9,500 <br /> square foot site located at 4232 First Street from "High <br /> Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Land Use Element of the General Plan changing the <br /> designation of an approximately 9,500 square foot site <br /> located at 4232 First Street from "High Density <br /> Residential" to "Commercial and Offices". <br /> <br /> <br />
