CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-440 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br /> PREPARED AND FILED FOR THE PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton provided <br /> proper public notice of completion of the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the proposed General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton met on <br /> July 23, 1986 and held a public hearing upon the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has accepted and responded to <br /> comments to the Draft Environmental Impact Report from <br /> public agencies having jurisdiction by law, persons <br /> having special expertise with respect to any <br /> environmental impact involved, and other persons or <br /> organizations having an interest in the proposed General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Final Environmental Impact Report has been prepared <br /> and contains the Draft Environmental Impact Report, <br /> comments and recommendations received on the Draft <br /> Environmental Impact Report, and the responses of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to significant environmental points <br /> raised in the review and consultation process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton provided <br /> proper public notice of completion of the Final <br /> Environmental Impact Report for the proposed General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton met on <br /> September 16, 1986 and held a public hearing upon the <br /> Final Environmental Impact Report; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council finds, after having reviewed and considered <br /> the material in the Environmental Impact Report, that <br /> the Environmental Impact Report prepared is complete, <br /> sufficient, and acceptable for the proposed General <br /> Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: Council finds that the Environmental Impact Report <br /> for the proposed General Plan has been completed in <br /> compliance with the California Environmental Quality <br /> Act, and state and city guidelines. <br /> <br /> <br />
