PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 977 <br />A review of the Neighborhood Commercial District within <br />Tract 2905, Mackay development, to rezone from the <br />A (Agricultural) District to the C-N (Commercial Neigh- <br />borhood) District. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />considered the zone amendment petition filed by MacKay ~ <br />Somps for Mackay Homes, Inc., to amend Sec. 3.100, Zoning <br />Ordinance No. 520, from the A (Agricultural) District <br />to the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) District contained <br />within Tract 2905, which was held in the A District pending <br />a study of the shopping centers planned for the immedia to <br />vicinity. <br />WHEREAS, said Cosmnission has held a Public Hearing on this petition <br />and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and <br />documents and finds that one or more of the following <br />conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest <br />and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable <br />condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby approves said rezoning from the <br />A (Agricultural) District to the C-N (Commercial Neigh- <br />borhood) District, for that parcel encompassed within <br />Tract 2905. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasaton <br />on the 14th day of January, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Antonini, Gibbs, Pereira and <br />Vice Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Chairman f3a~lncigan <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date : Ja nua r~._14 197 0 <br />Gene Pons, Vice Chairman <br />
