That the proposed amendment will not be contrary
to the spirit and intent of the General Plan,
2. That the proposed amendment is in the public
interest and general welfare,
3. That the proposed amendment creates a more
equitable condition for the community than now
prevails.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that GP-70-1 be approved as follows:
1. That the properties presently located on both
sides of Sonoma Drive and east of Sunol Boulevard
be reclassified to the C-S (Commercial Service)
District from the I-P (Industrial Park) District.
2. That those properties where the specific land
use terminated with the expiration of the Planned
Unit Development for Mission Park and generally
bounded by Sunol Boulevard, Mission Drive and
Hillview Avenue, be classified in the A (Agricultural)
District.
3. That the proposed shopping center generally
located at the southwest corner of Sycamore Road
and Pico Avenue be removed at this time.
4. That the acreage presently assigned to the pro-
posed shopping center for Mission Park located
east of Sunol Boulevard and south of Mission Drive
be retained at 9.4 acres net.
