PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 997 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton"recommending to City Council the approval of <br />RZ-70-2 filed by J. A. Jenks Company. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />considered RZ-70-2 filed by J. A. Jenks Company, to <br />amend Sec. 3.100 of Zoning Ordinance No. 520, to change <br />the zone district designation from the A (Agricultural) <br />District to the I-G (General Industry) District, that <br />property described as follows: <br />Parcel 3 - 1.2 acres _+, a portion of <br />Parcel 6-2 - 1.5 acres _+, Block 1151 of <br />Alameda County Assessor s Map Book 946, <br />or that property generally located on the northwest <br />corner of the intersection of Mohr and Oakland Avenues. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the follow- <br />ing conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to <br />the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest <br />and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable <br />condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council <br />the approval of RZ-70-2, as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 25th day of March, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gibbs, Pereira and Vice <br />Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioner Antonini and Chairman Garrigan <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Gene Pons, Vice Chairman <br />
