TASK 8 Observe and evaluate the excavation of the keyway and abutments. <br /> If foundation problem are discovered, recoEmendations will be <br /> made to move the embankment to a nearby, more suitable location. <br /> <br />TASK 9 Observe and evaluate borrow pit(s) where clay core material will <br /> be obtained. This will entail sampling and testing of material, <br /> and full-tim observations during borrow operations to observe <br /> quality and consistency of material being taken. <br /> <br />TASK 10 Observe placement and compaction of fill for embankment on <br /> full-tim basis; take moisture density tests, document <br /> observations and test results.
