EFFECTIVE AUGUST i ~85 <br /> <br /> The meth~ of establi~ing t~ fee for our services is as ~t forth in Manual No. 45c of t~ <br /> American 5~iety of Civil Engineers. Unless other arrangements have b~n made~ charges for <br /> all work including projects in pr~ress will be b~ed on the most recent ~hedule of charges. <br /> Charges are divided into four categories= Per~nnel~ Outside 5ervices~ Equipment Rental~ and <br /> Tests. <br /> <br /> PE~~ Personnel charges are for technical work. Charges are made for technical typing <br /> as in the preparation of reports and for the time and costs of printing as in the pr~ti~ of <br /> report~ Direr charges are not made for s~retarial service~ office management~ accounting~ <br /> a~ maintenance since the~ items are i~l~ in overhead. Cost i~ludes direct payroll costs~ <br />payroll taxes~ vacation~ holidays~ sick leave~ retirement~ and employee insurance. The full day rate will be the minimum charge for any portion. of a day. Preparati~ <br />for a court case will be c~rged at regular hourly rates. <br /> <br />Time spent in travel in the interest of the client will be charged at hourly rates except that no <br />more than 8 hours of travel time will be charged in any day. When it is n~es~ry for an <br />employ~ to be away from the office overnight~ actual costs of~ or a negotiated rate for~ living <br />expends will be charged. A multiplier of 1.20 will be applied to all personnel expenses. <br /> <br />O~51~ ~RVI~: Drilling, bulldozing~ trenching and similar contract work in connection <br />with exploration on which we administer o subcontract will be charged at the cost rate times <br />1.20. <br /> <br />Other outside services and equipment rental items will be charged at the billing or cost rate <br />times 1.20.
