CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-427 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING A FOUR-WAY STOP ON TASSAJARA <br /> ROAD AT THE 1-580 WESTBOUND OFF-RAMP <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a condition of approval of the AT&T office complex was <br /> that a traffic signal be installed on Tassajara Road at <br /> the westbound 1-580 off-ramp; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Caltrans has given preliminary approval and plans will <br /> be submitted to Caltrans in mid-September, however, <br /> construction is not expected until next summer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to mitigate the problems at this intersection <br /> in the interim, staff has proposed that a four-way stop <br /> be installed and Caltrans and County traffic departments <br /> have given preliminary approval; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the installation of a <br /> four-way stop at the intersection of Tassajara Road and <br /> the westbound 1-580 off-ramp. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to make a formal application with <br /> Caltrans and Alameda County for the installation of the <br /> four-way stop. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 16, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None ~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> F~N~ C.
