CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-419 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF IMPROVEMENTS TO CORRECT FLOODING OF ST. <br /> MARY'S CREEK AT PLEASANTON GARDENS ON KOTTINGER AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 4, 1986, Council was requested <br /> to prepare a plan to prevent flooding of the Pleasanton <br /> Gardens apartment complex on Kottinger Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Camp, Dresser and McKee, Inc. were retained to prepare a <br /> flood study and recommend mitigation measures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 2, 1986, the Director of <br /> Public Works and Utilities presented his report (SR <br /> 86:383) reviewing the recommendations of the report <br /> entitled "Preliminary Design Report, Storm Drainage <br /> Improvements with the St. Mary's Creek Watershed" dated <br /> August 1986; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Accepts the report by Camp, Dresser and McKee, Inc. <br /> entitled "Preliminary Design Report, Storm Drainage <br /> Improvements within the St. Mary's Creek Watershed" <br /> dated August 1986. <br /> <br />Section 2: Directs staff to proceed with the design of <br /> Alternative 4, Detention Basin Construction and retain <br /> the necessary consultants to prepare the plans and <br /> specifications. <br /> <br />Section 3: Directs staff to add this project to the 1986-87 <br /> Capital Improvement Program and delay Projects 11 and 13 <br /> in the 1986-87 CIP, Miscellaneous Projects, to a future <br /> year. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
