CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-415 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF DEED FOR FIVE ACRE PARK SITE FROM <br /> PONDEROSA HOMES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Quitclaim Deed from <br /> Ponderosa Industries, Inc. to the City of Pleasanton, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference, for purposes of a five acre park <br /> site; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 2, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a report from the Director of Public Works and <br /> Utilities indicating that the acceptance of this deed is <br /> in the public interest; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The Quitclaim Deed from Ponderosa Industries, Inc. to <br /> the City of Pleasanton for a five acre park site is <br /> hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City Council wishes to express its thanks to <br /> Ponderosa Industries, Inc. for this valuable <br /> contribution to the quality of life in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 2, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> FRAN~ C.'
