CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-401 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION IN <br /> CONNECTION WITH PUD-86-9, APPLICATION OF CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON FOR REZONING FROM "A" (AGRICULTURAL) AND CS <br /> (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT)-HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL TO CONSTRUCT A 220-UNIT SENIOR <br /> CITIZENS RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX TO BE LOCATED ON AN <br /> APPROXIMATELY 9.2 ACRE SITE LOCATED GENERALLY IN THE <br /> AREA WEST OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> TRANSPORTATION COMPANY AT THE SOUTHERN TERMINUS OF OLD <br /> BERNAL AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 19, 1986, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated August 8, 1986 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed plan to reduce the <br /> number of lots, increase the minimum size, and add a <br /> neighborhood park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development <br /> plan would not have any significant adverse effects on <br /> the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for CIty of <br /> Pleasanton for a rezoning from "A" (Agricultural and CS <br /> (Commercial Service) to PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development)-High Density Residential District to an <br /> approved development plan to construct a 220-unit senior <br /> citizens residential complex to be located in the area <br /> west of the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific <br /> Transportation Company at the southern terminus of Old <br /> Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br /> <br />
